I once saw myself in another.
A figure passing through the world as if made of fire,
unshaken by its own burning.
I looked down and found heavy boots,
moving in a deep path worn by countless feet.
All of us walking without seeing.
Something in me whispered to turn.
To step out.
But fear sat in the weight of the boots,
and I stayed with the procession
of the known and enforced order
Still, the vision lingers.
It drifts through my dreams.
And sometimes,
in a quiet moment,
a small flame lifts from a fingertip
reminding me what I am becoming

“The people ridiculed Noah,
saying, ‘Where is the sea toward which you are making this ship?
Why this labor and this wooden house you build?’
He answered: ‘Though you laugh at me today,
a day will come when the flood will surround you.
Then you will see who was foolish,
and who was following the command of the unseen.’
The prophets build their ships on dry land,
not by the sea,
for their sea is the hidden world.
Their work is not for the eyes of men
but for the command that stirs within them.”
“If you have an unseen impulse within you,
follow it.
Even if the whole world calls you mad.
The soul has its own sea
even upon the desert.”
“When the soul has awakened,
it follows the call of the unseen.
The pull becomes strong
and reason cannot resist.
The path opens
and the way becomes clear.”
“The reed’s cry is fire, not mere air.
Let him who lacks this fire
be accounted dead.”

“Be patient toward all that is still unresolved in your heart
and try to love the questions themselves.
Like locked rooms, like books written in a foreign tongue.
Do not search now for the answers that cannot be given to you,
because you would not yet be able to live them.
Live the questions.
Live them now.
Perhaps, without noticing it,
you will live your way into the answers,
into a future that your mind cannot yet grasp.”
“Everything inside you is in slow growth.
Let it happen.
Let every experience shape you.
Do not force it.
The unfolding takes time.
It is being lived in you,
not by you.”
“Allow the unknown to work on you as a force.
Trust the quiet tide
that draws you forward
even when you do not feel yourself moving.”
